Matt's birthday on a plane

Matt is spending his 35th birthday on a plane headed to California for an MPD trip. Though I miss him loads every time he takes a trip, I'm so happy to see him go and visit family and friends and report to people who are invested in what we do.

The kiddos and I are chillin' at home, looking forward to some warmer weather during Spring Break, and experimenting with some Lenten activities. Matt jokes that he gave up his birthday for Lent, and I'm trying to - seriously - fast from Facebook for Lent. I feel ridiculous just saying that, but am excited to put on something for Lent as well: writing. I'm anxious to commune with Jesus (and others) through written prayers and thoughts during this meditative season.

In our last update, I mentioned that I was very happy to work on a little project for Evangelical Alliance Ireland, helping them design some new website images (I've posted some below).
